A PRAYER FOR FIRST HOLY COMMUNICANTS
Dear God,
I know that You give me many gifts.
The gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ in Holy Communion is the greatest of all.
How can I ever thank You enough for this special gift?
At Mass we are called to be like Jesus, by loving and serving one another in the world.
As I become more like Him, please continue to help me.
Show me the places and ways that I can bring Your love, kindness, and peace to others
in my family,
in my neighbourhood,
in my community,
with my friends.
I ask this in Jesus' name.
Amen.
Dear Parents and Caregivers,
Thank you to those who were able to attend my Farewell Mass at All Saints yesterday evening. It was such a special event and to have so many Stella Maris students, parents and staff present was a perfect way to bring my career to a close. A big thank you to the children who read Prayers of the Faithful or were involved in the choir and dance group as well as the staff who spent weeks preparing the students.

It was announced that the current Principal of St Michael’s Thirroul, Belinda Hughes was appointed as our new Principal, commencing at the start of the 2023 school year. Remembrance Day
On the 11 November at 11am we gathered together in prayer for Remembrance Day. We paused for one minute of silence to remember in faith, the service and sacrifice of all who gave their lives in wars, conflicts and peace operations and those who continue serving in our armed forces today. We also prayed for healing and peace; that one day, all people will lay down their arms and embrace one another as brothers and sisters in one human family.
It was also a privilege for Mr Sykes and our Vice Captains Noemi Branchi and Peter Bryla to be invited to attend a beautiful ceremony in the village.
Mr Danny Sykes’ Farewell Mass
Last night, we celebrated together as a community with a beautiful Mass at All Saints, in honour of our retiring principal Mr Danny Sykes. A huge thank you to everyone who attended and the many faces behind the scenes who made sure all were welcomed and catered for. It was a beautiful evening shared with friends and filled with memories, hymns from the amazing choir and a graceful display from our talented dancers. We wish Mr Sykes the very best on his new journey.

God Bless You

Today, the Year 4 and 5 VEX robotics teams travelled to St Paul's Albion Park to develop their skills. They worked with teams from local primary and high schools to learn more about coding and driving robots. It was also a fantastic opportunity to build work on collaboration and communication.
